Hey Everybody! Sorry it has been FOREVER. As a lot of you know I still am feeling pretty nauseated BUT I am very very happy other than that. Baby is growing and all is well. I went to the Dr. yesterday, and at my last appointment I had lost 20 pounds but at this one I had gained one! yay, so I should end up at my normal weight by the end, I think it's because I had so much wedding cake :) So I am 20 weeks now!!!! 5 months. Yay, halfway there. Friday we will find out the sex of the baby! My mom says it's a girl and so does Nate. I, on the other hand, have no idea, and ya'll know I always shake my presents before opening them so this is torture! haha. Nate felt the baby today for the first time! He was sooooo happy. just the last two days it has been having a party in there, I don't know what is going on! :) So in other news, we are supposed to be moving in less than two weeks, and we still don't have a place or a sure job for Nate. This is kind of freaking me out because I am a PLANNER and the last time that we moved without everything being really set was the worst year ever so I am NERVOUS. At the same time, we have reeeeally tried, when you've done everything in your power, it's time to trust that the Lord will be faithfull because what else are you gonna do? I mean, come on, He made the universe, a house and a job are really microscopic. So pray pray pray for miracles. well, I love you all, and I'll let you know the sex on Friday.

First Doctor's Appointment- 7 weeks 3 days

Hello friends and family,
we decided to start a Baby Goodpasture blog to keep everyone updated. Today we had our first "official" Doctor's appointment. Actually I was seen by a nurse practitioner because Dr. Jennings decided to go skiing. haha. I'm not sure what to think about that. But regarless, she was awesome, older and wise, and took the time to answer all of our million questions. We did find out that I am actually 7 weeks along and not 6. Our next appointment will be March 27th but we have an ultrasound scheduled before then, on March 12th which I am very excited for. I got prenatal vitamins today which were free thanks to SoonerCare. Another thing we found out is that SoonerCare only pays for the first ultrasound and we pay for the others, but really it covers everything else which we are super thankful for. As far as symptoms, my sense of smell has gotten waaaay too sensitive preventing me from eating most things. But I am eating only little bits at a time and fresh healthy food. Thankfully I have NOT thrown up, not even once, so that is good. I'm not sleeping very well, and the other day I woke up with plastic nipples. all in all I don't think I am doing bad at all considering all the stories I've heard though. Baby will be the size of a grape sunday so that's fun. Nathan is well and reading up on being a dad (he is actually reading about sympathy pains in his book rightnow, haha). I think that's about it for now but We will be sure to keep you all updated.
